Desserts are a popular and delightful way to end a meal. They are a great opportunity to create special memories with friends and family.

Desserts are a variety of sweet treats. They may be eaten cold or hot. Some desserts are made with sugar and eggs. Others are made with fruits or spices.

Depending on the country, desserts can be a part of the regular course of a meal. Many countries enjoy having a dessert as a part of a dinner. In some cultures, the dessert is the most important element of the meal.

Pies are one of the most common types of desserts. Pies generally consist of pastry dough that is filled with sweet ingredients. Pies may also contain nuts, vegetables, and custard.

Confections are another type of dessert. These are made with a mixture of sugar, honey, and other ingredients. A common confection is fudge. Other confections include cookies, candies, candy, and chewing gum.

Ice cream is a frozen dessert. It is made with a base of cream, milk, or a combination of the two. Ice cream is often served in cones. Gelato, on the other hand, has less air than ice cream.

Some of the most famous desserts are chocolate chip cookie, sugar cookie, and peanut butter. Fruits are another popular ingredient for pastry fillings.

During the 17th century, the word “dessert” was coined. It came from the French verb desservir, which means to clear the table.
